The Media

We have been doing readership surveys since 1992. Since 2000 we have been specialising in Internet research. We also work for radio and TV broadcasters. We constantly help our customers adjust to the public's changing expectations. We have worked both on modifying and improving products that already exist on the market and on new media start-ups. Many customers have entrusted that task to us - especially those who are aware that media research is quite different from "ordinary" research. It is a bit more difficult to do them properly. We have done research for publishers of daily newspapers, weeklies, monthlies, of women's, men's, children's and teenagers' magazines; we have researched the image of radio and TV chains and analysed the content of their programming offer. We regularly survey the Internet, helping build professional and user-friendly web portals and services. The customers appreciate our expertise and we are not afraid of new challenges.

The Financial Market

Our research work for the banking and insurance sector has been growing in line with the rapid expansion of those services. One of our first projects concerned the introduction of the VISA card on the Polish market. We have been regularly studying the life insurance market and since 1999 we have been a leading research centre for the pension fund market. Our offer includes detailed periodical surveys monitoring the development of that market as well as different types of complementary studies covering such issues as the customers' information needs, the image of the pension fund companies, or pre-testing advertising concepts and materials.

Telecommunications

ARC Rynek i Opinia has been providing data to wire and wireless telecom operators. We cover such issues as market segmentation, optimisation of tariffs, testing new services and telephones as well as creating brand names for new networks. We also study customer satisfaction and the image of the particular operators. Our outstanding knowledge of the specificity of the telecom market allows us to formulate the right questions and to interpret the respondents' reactions properly.

The Construction Market

The Polish construction sector has been growing very dynamically. However, research on the construction material market is not the easiest thing to do. The decision to purchase a specific product is affected by many persons - architects, contractors, retailers and the investors themselves. Each of those groups may have different preferences and expectations, which our study must account for. We have covered a variety of products such as plasterboard, insulation systems, tile adhesives, globe valves, ceramic tiles and plumbing fixtures.
